Overview
PairFit helps visitors discover complete outfit recommendations, compare shopping options, and save favorite fits on their device. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the site.
PairFit is operated by Haus Ivy LLC, d/b/a PairFit.
Information We Collect
PairFit does not currently require an account, offer a public email signup, or ask visitors to upload photos.
We receive information you choose to send us directly, such as your email address and message when you contact us.
We and our analytics providers may collect usage and technical data, including pages viewed, outfit choices, feature interactions, save and share actions, shopping-link clicks, referring pages, approximate location derived from an IP address, and browser or device details.
Our hosting provider may process limited request and security data, including IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs, to deliver and protect the site.
Saved Fits and Browser Storage
Saved Fits and recent starting-piece preferences are stored locally in your browser using device storage. PairFit does not currently copy your Saved Fits list into a PairFit account or database.
Saved Fits stay on that browser and device unless you remove them or clear browser storage. They do not automatically sync across devices. We may separately record an analytics event when a fit is saved, opened, or removed, including the related outfit and the number of locally saved fits.
Analytics and Service Providers
PairFit uses Google Analytics and PostHog to understand site usage and product performance. These services may use cookies, browser storage, or similar technologies and process usage and technical data under their own privacy terms.
PairFit uses Netlify for hosting, delivery, redirects, and related site operations. We may also use an email provider to receive and respond to messages you send us.
How We Use Information
- To operate PairFit and provide recommendations.
- To understand which outfits, capsules, budgets, and product flows are useful.
- To measure shares and shopping-link activity.
- To respond to messages and privacy requests.
- To protect the site from abuse and technical issues.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us run and understand the site, when required by law, in connection with a business transaction, or when necessary to protect PairFit, our visitors, or others.
When you follow a shopping link, PairFit may record the click and redirect you to a third-party retailer. The retailer may receive information such as the referring page, requested product, IP address, and browser or device details. The retailer's privacy policy applies after you leave PairFit.
Retention
Device-local Saved Fits remain until you remove them or clear browser storage. Analytics and hosting data are kept according to our settings and our providers' retention practices.
Messages you send us may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
Your Choices
You can remove Saved Fits in the Saved Fits view or clear PairFit's browser storage using your browser settings. You can also restrict cookies or analytics using browser controls or provider-level opt-outs where available, although some settings may affect site behavior.
You can contact us to ask about or request deletion of information you provided directly. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.
Children and Security
PairFit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service or transmission method is perfectly secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as PairFit changes. We will post the revised version here and update the date above.
